Affiliate Terms

OVERVIEW

These terms govern the SlabShield Affiliate Programme (the “Programme”). They apply between SlabShield (“we”, “us”, “our”) and you as an affiliate (“you”).

 

By applying to and participating in the Programme, you agree to be bound by these terms, together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

 

1. ELIGIBILITY & APPLICATION

You must be at least 18 years old to join the Programme.

 

Applications are reviewed individually. We may accept or decline any application at our discretion, and we are not obliged to give a reason.

 

Your social media accounts must be publicly visible so we can review them. Information you give us in your application must be accurate.

 

There is no fee to join, and participation is free.

 

2. COMMISSION

Approved affiliates earn 10% commission on qualifying orders referred through their unique affiliate link or discount code.

 

Commission is calculated on the product value of the order only. It excludes VAT, shipping charges, gift cards, and the value of any discount applied to the order.

 

There is no cap on the commission you can earn.

 

You cannot earn commission on your own purchases, or on orders placed by you using your own code or link.

 

3. TRACKING & ATTRIBUTION

Referrals made through your affiliate link are tracked by cookie for 30 days from the click. If a customer places an order within that window, the order is attributed to you.

 

Where more than one affiliate link has been clicked, the most recent click before the order takes attribution.

 

Orders placed using your discount code are attributed to you regardless of the cookie window.

 

Tracking depends on the customer’s browser and device settings. We cannot guarantee that every referral will be tracked, and we are not liable for referrals lost because a customer blocked or cleared cookies, or switched device.

 

4. PAYMENT

Commission is held as pending for 30 days after an order is dispatched, to allow the returns window to pass. It is then approved and added to your payable balance.

 

Approved commission is paid monthly, once your balance reaches a minimum of £25. Balances below this roll over to the following month.

 

Payment is made by bank transfer or PayPal. It is your responsibility to give us accurate payment details, and we are not liable for payments that fail or are misdirected because the details you supplied were incorrect.

 

We may withhold payment where we reasonably suspect fraudulent, artificial or policy-breaching activity, pending review.

 

5. REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS & CHARGEBACKS

Commission is only payable on orders that complete successfully.

 

Where an order is later refunded, cancelled, returned, or subject to a chargeback, the related commission is reversed. If it has already been paid, it may be deducted from your next payment.

 

6. DISCOUNT CODES

Your discount code is personal to you and issued for sharing with your audience.

 

Codes may not be combined with other offers unless we state otherwise, and we may change or withdraw a code, or its discount value, at any time.

 

Codes must not be submitted to voucher, coupon or deal aggregator websites, browser extensions or similar services. Commission on orders originating from these sources will not be paid.

 

7. DISCLOSURE

You must clearly disclose your commercial relationship with SlabShield whenever you promote us. Under the UK CAP Code and Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations, affiliate content is advertising and must be identifiable as such.

 

A clear label such as #ad placed prominently at the start of the post, caption or video is required. Burying it among other hashtags, or relying only on a platform’s built-in tag, is not sufficient.

 

Responsibility for complying with advertising rules rests with you. Repeated failure to disclose will result in removal from the Programme.

 

8. PROMOTING SLABSHIELD

You may promote SlabShield through your own social media accounts, website, blog, newsletter, videos and live streams.

 

You must not:

 

  • Make false, exaggerated or misleading claims about our products
  • Bid on “SlabShield” or similar brand terms in paid search advertising
  • Represent yourself as SlabShield, or as speaking on our behalf
  • Create websites, accounts, domains or profiles that imply they are operated by us
  • Promote us through spam, unsolicited email, or automated posting
  • Place our brand alongside unlawful, hateful, adult or otherwise damaging content
  • Use paid advertising that misrepresents the product or its price

 

9. FREE PRODUCT

We may send products to affiliates at our discretion. Doing so once does not entitle you to receive product on an ongoing basis.

 

Where product is gifted in exchange for content, that content must be disclosed as described in section 7.

 

10. USE OF OUR BRAND

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable permission to use the SlabShield name, logo and product imagery for the sole purpose of promoting our products under this Programme.

 

You must not alter our logo, register our name or anything confusingly similar as a domain, business name or trade mark, or use our branding in any way that damages our reputation.

 

This permission ends immediately when your participation in the Programme ends.

 

11. YOUR STATUS

You take part in the Programme as an independent party. Nothing in these terms creates an employment relationship, partnership, agency or joint venture between you and SlabShield.

 

You are responsible for declaring and paying any tax due on commission you earn.

 

12. CHANGES & TERMINATION

We may change these terms, the commission rate, or any part of the Programme. We will publish changes on this page and give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.

 

Either of us may end your participation at any time and for any reason, by giving notice in writing or by email.

 

We may suspend or terminate participation immediately, and withhold unpaid commission, where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached or that fraudulent activity has taken place.

 

On termination, commission properly earned before that date remains payable, subject to the conditions above.

 

13. DATA PROTECTION

Information you give us when applying is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

You may ask us to remove you from the Programme and delete your details at any time by contacting us.

 

14. LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your participation in the Programme, including lost earnings, lost referrals or interruptions to tracking.

 

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

 

15. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
