Slab Mag

Most of a collection lives in a binder, which means most of a collection never gets looked at. The Slab Mag is the answer to that: a magnetic card holder that puts one card on the back of your phone, where you actually see it.

The Slab Mag MagSafe Card Holder takes a standard trading card — Pokémon, Lorcana, One Piece, sports and the rest — behind a clear front and back, so the card is fully visible from either side. It slides in and out freely rather than gripping, so nothing gets bent, creased or stuck, and swapping today’s card for a new pull takes seconds.

A strong magnetic ring snaps it onto any MagSafe phone and holds through a pocket, a table and a show. If your phone or case is not MagSafe, an adhesive metal converter ring is included in the box, so it works with practically anything.

The frame is rigid enough to guard against bends and scratches while staying slim enough not to bulk out the phone, and there are seven colourways — white, black, red, blue, yellow, green and purple — at £7.99.

For cards you would rather keep flat and protected than carry, see magnetic card cases and penny sleeves.
